"Our people checked, that little reporter isn't from a mainstream news media outlet."
Jasper Winters glanced at James Thompson and continued, "The little reporter just happened to be nearby, staking out news on a female celebrity, when two girls passing by were talking about a high-profile divorcee suspected of murder."
"The little reporter got the supermarket address from those two girls and went to wait for Miss Land there."
James Thompson's gaze turned slightly cold as he asked, "Have we found out who started spreading it?"
Although it was possible to trace back to the original source of the gossip, it was impossible to identify who provided it.
James Thompson was most worried about the matter being related to Christopher Moore; if it were, it would prove that Moore had set his sights on Julia Land.
As James pondered, Jasper Winters did not speak out to interrupt.
