Chapter 289: Mommy, I'm So Hungry

Leaving the police station in Fair Field Town, Julia Land and James Thompson headed to the street where Elizabeth Shaw's grandfather had filmed.

They proceeded to inquire at the shops on both sides of the street.

James Thompson, who had brought people along, dispersed them to ask around.

"Hello, did you see this little girl in the video yesterday?" James Thompson asked, showing his phone to the shopkeeper.

"Never seen her," the shopkeeper shook his head.

"Thank you."

James Thompson pushed Julia Land's wheelchair to another store.

The two continued to ask several shops.

Finally, at a small noodle shop, they got a bit of information.

Although there were no customers in the shop atm, the proprietress still spoke in a hushed voice, "This man brought the little girl here yesterday to eat noodles. She was obviously very hungry and directly used her hands to grab the noodles to eat."

At that time, she didn't think much of it, assuming he was an uncaring father.
