James Thompson's gaze swept deeply across the verdant fingers tapping lightly on his thigh.
"So there's really a prize for guessing correctly?" he asked hoarsely.
"Mm-hmm, I'm not lying to you," Julia Land assured with a beaming smile.
James Thompson raised an eyebrow, "You don't want to inherit the Bell Group because, firstly, with Madame Bell's character, if you really did inherit shares of the Bell Group, she would probably always persuade you to let Maxwell Bell manage it."
"Secondly, the shareholders of the Bell Group aren't like those of the former Moore Group. They won't allow you to make sweeping reforms in the company and take control of the decision-making."
"Thirdly, back then you didn't want to invest energy in dealing with Madame Bell, nor did you want to take over the Bell Group."
He chuckled and pulled Julia Land into his arms, letting her sit on his lap, "In a word, you find it 'troublesome'."
If it's considered a bother, why unnecessarily get involved?
