Eleanor Thompson's eyes, filled with tangible mockery, landed on Dale Land, "I really admire your courage."
Dale Land was slightly startled, but quickly regained her composure and replied gracefully, "I admire my own courage too. Besides, it proves that my inner qualities surpass your outer appearance."
She smiled faintly with a curl of her lip.
Eleanor Thompson, as if hearing a hilarious joke, scanned Dale Land's cheap clothes, "A poor look, and you say your inner qualities are better than my appearance? Are you here to be funny?"
Carson Dunn's gaze turned icy. He looked at Eleanor Thompson and said coldly, "Miss Thompson, the funny one is you, completely uncultured, mocking a stranger like that."
Eleanor Thompson was startled by his cold gaze, but still unwilling to show weakness, she tried to retaliate.
Unfortunately for her, both Carson Dunn and Dale Land had no interest in arguing over such meaningless issues with someone nonsensical.
