Henry's smile immediately faded when he saw Carson Dunn, and he slapped his own mouth, "Sorry."
He shouldn't have brought that up.
What's in the past is past.
Henry changed the subject, "After we graduated from college, I thought everyone would go their separate ways. I didn't expect you and Little Dale to still be together, Carson."
Carson gave a faint smile, "Yeah, it's probably not long before you'll be drinking to mine and Little Dale's wedding."
Henry's eyes widened in surprise at these words, "Well, look at you, okay then, I'll wait for your wedding banquet. You didn't come to Capital City just for your girlfriend, did you?"
His words were just a playful joke.
Carson nodded noncommittally.
Henry gave a thumbs up in admiration, but he truly felt Carson didn't need to sacrifice his own happiness for a lifetime.
He should marry a beautiful and delicate wife.
Just then, Henry suddenly saw a beauty being harassed, "Carson, look over there, a beauty."
