Chapter 271: Mountain Climbing

After giving Xi Wanlin various instructions to take note of, Lu Lei left her room.

Xi Wanlin lay on the bed in the hostel, feeling incredibly exhilarated.

When one is feeling down, it's indeed good to make some new friends and go out and about. That way, one can change their mood. She wasn't feeling that depressed anymore.

The hostel had poor sound insulation. At first, it was very lively. The members of the mountaineering team gathered together and went crazy, chattering nonstop, especially some of the female members.

But after 11 p.m., it gradually quieted down. It seemed they had all reached a consensus that if they were going to climb the mountain the next day, they must save their energy the night before.

In the early hours, Xi Wanlin was woken up by her alarm clock. She opened her eyes to the hostel's simple bed and ceiling.

Actually, it's kind of nice to let loose once in a while, she thought.
