The fifth day of the new year.
Su Meixi had finally finished her Spring Festival shift.
This evening, she was walking home with a colleague from her unit.
This colleague was named Wang Bing, 33 years old, also a Military Wife, living inside the Military District with her, and Su Meixi got along with her extremely well. Since they were close in age and both without children, they often chatted about preparing for pregnancy.
"I've been married for four years, and I still haven't gotten pregnant," Wang Bing said as she walked. "I'm starting to suspect that I'm infertile."
"Ah? Have you checked for the reason?" When Su Meixi asked, she was also worried about herself.
"I've had it checked, it might be because I took birth control pills too often. My damn man doesn't like to use condoms; alas, this birth control thing, it's women who suffer. Let me tell you, no matter how much you don't want kids, don't take birth control pills."
"I rarely take them," Su Meixi said.
