Luo Haoyu had just left when Yan Xi was called into Dean Liu's office.
Dean Liu was not someone who sought her out unless there was a matter of importance.
Filled with curiosity, Yan Xi approached the door to Dean Liu's office, paused, and knocked.
"Come in."
Dean Liu's voice resonated from within.
Yan Xi opened the door and walked in, about to ask Dean Liu why he had summoned her, when she saw Professor Li sitting on the sofa, waving at her as she entered.
"Dr. Yan, come over here and take a seat quickly."
Yan Xi nodded lightly and walked over, "Professor Li."
Professor Li took Yan Xi's hand, sat her down beside him, then picked up some documents from the desk and placed them in Yan Xi's hands.
Yan Xi reached out to receive them—it was a stack of medical records and some test reports.
"This is a seven-year-old girl from Binhai with an extremely rare disease."
