"These days, the surname Doyle seems to be quite common," Professor Peterson murmured to himself as he repeated the name "Professor Doyle." Back in his youth, most of the people around him had common surnames like Li, Wang, Zhang, Liu, and Chen.
For instance, Elder Carson was surnamed Chen.
His and Professor Xavier's surnames were considered quite rare among their classmates back then.
Now, it seems any rare surname like Doyle can end up as a professor.
Professor Peterson was unsure whether the title of professor had become easier to obtain nowadays or if it was just a coincidence that these two Doyles happened to be local professors in Sea City and both were known to him.
Anyway.
Professor Peterson didn't make any connection between the two aspects.
After all, excelling in one field is already quite an accomplishment.
Shining in two different fields is pretty much impossible.
