Ellie Doyle looked bewildered, "Who?"
Hugo Hayes didn't answer, but his gaze took on a meaningful depth, "Forget it, you'll know later on."
Seeing Hugo Hayes act so mysteriously, Ellie Doyle found it amusing, "Right, I've been so busy these past few days I completely forgot to ask you, how's your rest been lately? Have you been able to sleep?"
Hugo Hayes hesitated for a moment.
Ellie Doyle had already taken his hand, her fingertips on his pulse.
Her smile faded, "You haven't rested at all these past few days, why didn't you tell me?"
"It's alright," Hugo Hayes pulled his arm back, "I slept for a bit in the car yesterday, that was enough."
Ellie Doyle: "..."
When she drove back from the hospital where Logan Johnson was staying yesterday, Hugo Hayes did indeed sleep for a little while in the car.
But that little while was only half an hour.
He hadn't rested for several days and nights in a row; this half an hour was like a drop in the bucket.
