Chapter 242 Mysterious Investor

Odessa Woods groggily opened her eyes, staring at the ceiling.

Her mind was empty, unable to recall anything, and her body felt terribly uncomfortable.

However, she was no longer as dizzy as before.

Samuel Hayes had already finished inquiring with the doctor and walked over to Odessa's bedside.

He reached out and touched Odessa's forehead, which was no longer burning with fever, and his anxious heart relaxed a bit, "I've had a nutritional meal prepared for you, get up and eat something."

Samuel's eyes were indulgent and amused as he held her hand, "Okay, whatever you say is fine, I'll go get you some water now."

Odessa nodded, "Thank you, husband!"

She took the water Samuel had poured.

Odessa struggled to sit up.

The water was warm, at just the right temperature.
