Ellie Doyle chuckled as she stared at him, "Do you really want to see?"
Hugo Hayes coughed again, "It's alright."
"If it's just alright, then let's forget about it." Ellie blinked, "See you tomorrow, big spender."
Hugo Hayes frowned, "Where are you going?"
Ellie responded, "To sleep."
Hugo Hayes inquired, "What about me?"
Ellie had already stood up and was leaving the dining area. With her back to Hugo, she waved, "Do whatever you like, there are plenty of guest rooms."
"I want to sleep with you," Hugo stated as he stood and quickly caught up to her.
At two o'clock in the morning.
Hugo Hayes emerged from the bathroom, holding Ellie.
Ellie, exhausted, slumped against his chest, half-asleep.
In her daze, Ellie heard Hugo calling her name.
She couldn't make out exactly what he was saying, her foggy brain simply could not discern.
Her head tilted, resting on Hugo's chest, she fell asleep.
The night lamp cast a soft glow on Ellie's face.
