Blake Hughes smiled, "I'm no god; how could I possibly know what Professor Doyle is thinking? I simply guessed his thoughts based on his facial expressions, that's all."
Without further explanation, Blake changed the subject, "Let's go, I'll take you to our work base for a look."
Ellie Doyle's heart quietly let out a sigh of relief.
It seemed she had been overly sensitive.
Staring at Blake's retreating back, Ellie calmed the fluctuations in her heart and quickly followed.
The underground base was huge, and everywhere she looked, half-human-sized intelligent robots were transporting documents according to the staff's instructions.
These robots were no different from the meal delivery robots seen in shopping malls.
But after Ellie appeared,
many of the employees in the base glanced at her more or less curiously.
Obviously, they were very curious about Ellie's unfamiliar face.
