Ellie Doyle looked at him and continued, "However, I have one more condition now."
Marcus Sharp: "What?"
Ellie Doyle, smiling as she stared at him, said, "What do you think? Given your current condition, are you sure you can make it to the Civil Affairs Bureau?"
"Let's wait until you've recovered from your injuries and can be discharged, then we can get our marriage certificate."
Actually, she couldn't wait either.
She wished they could get the certificate right now.
But what he needed more right now was rest.
Ellie Doyle's cheeks blushed slightly as she looked at him, firmly continuing, "As long as you don't back out, I will eventually be your wife."
Marcus Sharp's gaze deepened, a faint smile appeared on his pale, haggard face, he held her hand and nodded, "Alright, I'll listen to you, my Lady."
He bowed his head, moving closer to her lips.
Ellie Doyle was just about to lean in to meet his kiss.
