Summer Zimmerman started coughing violently.
She couldn't help but laugh and cry as she stared at Quinnie Doyle's serious little face.
If it wasn't for her participation in the math competition years ago and being haunted by the shadows of mathematics, she almost believed it.
Summer Zimmerman's face brightened up with a smile again, trying her best to use words that a child could understand, patiently explaining: "Quinnie Doyle, are you trying to tell the teacher that you have already finished learning all the math knowledge that you're supposed to learn in kindergarten?"
Fearing hurting Quinnie's self-esteem, Summer Zimmerman added: "However, it's really impressive that you managed to learn addition and subtraction beyond ten ahead of time. But doing other things during class is not right, the teacher hopes that next time, even if you've already learned the knowledge being taught, you can still listen carefully in class, okay?"
