Quiana Doyle didn't quite understand the big brother in front of her. Why did he suddenly ask her to lower her voice?
Was her voice really that loud just now?
She still hadn't figured it out.
A familiar yet icy voice came through: "You all, come over here."
At the sound of the voice, Quiana instantly lit up, and the little disappointment she had felt earlier was completely swept away.
She lifted her head, looking toward the tall figure appearing in her sightline: "Daddy!"
At the entrance of the alley.
Hugo Hayes had appeared at some point. His expression was a bit cold as he crouched and waved toward Quiana: "Come over here."
"Daddy!" Quiana ran to Hugo with a big smile, her little face filled with joy that hadn't stopped since she first saw him. She threw herself into Hugo's arms, rubbing her small head against his neck: "Daddy! Harriet knew it — Harriet knew Daddy would come looking for her!"
