Chapter 409: Wedding Planning?

Harriet's words made Mrs. Hayes's eyes brim with tears once again.

She gazed at the little girl standing in front of her, who was still young but already so lovely and delicate, liking her more the longer she looked.

This child was her great-granddaughter and part of the Hayes Family's bloodline.

Harriet's presence seemed to stir up certain memories for Mrs. Hayes. Her gaze held a mix of wistfulness and comfort. She bent down to gently stroke Harriet's chubby cheek and murmured to herself, "If your great-grandfather were still alive, he would be so pleased to see you…"

Back during the days when Mr. Hayes was still around, he used to say often how wonderful it would be if the Hayes Family could have a little girl.

Unfortunately, until he passed away, he never had the chance to see even a single girl in the family.

Mrs. Hayes smiled faintly, her expression graceful: "Child, from now on, let your great-grandma and everyone else dote on you together, okay?"
