"Finn, long time no see."
Ellie Doyle sat opposite Finn Thackeray.
Finn withdrew the smile from his face and adopted a serious expression. "Little Sister, there's a file here. I think you'll definitely find it interesting."
Ellie froze for a moment before accepting the file Finn handed over.
When she opened the first page of the file, her expression finally became heavy.
With just one glance, Ellie shut the file.
As she raised her head again, her expression had returned to calm. But deep within her black irises, turbulence was still apparent. "Finn, can we talk somewhere else?"
The implication was clear—this place was unsuitable for the conversation.
Finn seemed unsurprised by her reaction, nodding gently. "Alright."
A few minutes later.
In a black sedan parked by the roadside.
After ensuring the car doors were closed and that no one outside could hear them, Ellie spoke seriously, "Finn, how did you know I needed this information?"
