Pei Liyan had just laid her on the sofa and hadn't yet managed to call Fang Mo to find a doctor when Qiao Rui grabbed his chin.
Pei Liyan, startled, his pupils deepened, and a hint of irritation flitted across his eyes. He commanded in a deep voice, "Don't move."
Qiao Rui's mind was dazed, slightly out of control.
She, acting like an overbearing CEO, ordered Pei Liyan instead, "You don't move!"
Pei Liyan's eyebrows furrowed tightly as he coldly snorted, "You're playing with fire!"
Qiao Rui couldn't listen to what Pei Liyan was saying anymore; she felt awful all over. The remnants of her sanity made her want to pull Pei Liyan close, not to hear his nagging, so she took a risk and silenced him with her body.
Pei Liyan was stunned for a moment; that familiar sensation, just like last time with Rui Qing, flashed through his mind, and he stiffened up.
Yet Qiao Rui did not let go, entangling herself even tighter.
