Early morning!
Mrs. Shen went out. She sat in the car but didn't get out.
On the streets, all the storefronts, breakfast shops, hotels, restaurants, eateries, malls, and even some small shops displayed identical signs: "Mrs. Shen and dogs are not allowed inside."
Even worse, the bus stop platforms, subway station advertisements, and electronic screens outside shopping malls showed the same text. It was as if, overnight, every advertising space in the entire F Country was completely overtaken, all displaying the exact same message.
Mrs. Shen was furious. She hadn't expected things to turn out this way.
Last night, Mrs. Shen made plenty of phone calls. She had already communicated and finalized matters with her old friends. How could there be a sudden change of plan?
Mrs. Shen hurriedly dialed a phone number.
"Zhang, what on earth happened to what you promised me last night?" Mrs. Shen demanded.
Zhang hemmed and hawed, clearly feeling awkward.
