Of course Duoduo knew, but she had no reason to worry. Instead, she ate quickly, even faster than before, because she always believed that the person coming to rescue her was definitely Mommy, absolutely her.
"Are you full?" Jing Muchen asked.
"Uh-huh." Duoduo nodded obediently.
Jing Muchen reached out his hand, and Duoduo, after a slight hesitation, extended her hand, and the two of them walked out of the hotel hand in hand, got in the car, went to the designated place, and then waited for the person to rescue Duoduo.
In the secluded warehouse.
Jing Muchen sat there with his legs crossed, exceedingly calm; he had no reason to worry, as the outcome was sure to be as he expected.
However, the previously confident Duoduo, who had believed her Mommy would appear, now began to worry. She sat uneasily on a small stool, her eyes fixed on the warehouse door. Two hours had passed, why hadn't Mommy come yet?
Could it be she really wasn't coming?
