Chapter 282: Awake from a Great Dream, the Mistake is Already Made.

Violet Don had a very long dream.

In her dream, she encountered every person she had met in her lifetime, starting with her parents and older brother, the prisoners during her five years of captivity, Wayne Don, Graham Frye, Grayson Sutton, the studio staff, before the dream settled on one particular face.

A face with delicate but indifferent features, and a pair of pitch-black eyes like the dead of night.

Violet wanted to wake up, but she couldn't control her own brain, which seemed to no longer heed her commands. She sent the command to awaken, but her mind continued to be lost in slumber.

Her eyes, they wouldn't open.

Her hands, they wouldn't move.

She felt that this state of hers matched that of a vegetative person—her senses had come back to life, and occasionally, she could even hear voices talking from outside.

But she couldn't open her eyes, couldn't see anything; she repeatedly went through nightmares, time and again falling from the abyss to her death.
