Chapter 396 Terror Rampage, Plunging into Darkness.

When the violent explosion erupted, Noah Bates felt a sharp pain stabbing his back. Instinctively, he fiercely shielded the mother and child beneath him. As glass shards pierced into his back, he let out a stifled grunt.

Later, the darkness of unconsciousness came crashing over him, accompanied by the searing pain in his body. He caught the metallic scent of blood but found himself too weak to open his eyes again.

Before falling completely into the abyss, he vaguely heard someone shouting beside his ear—

"Take them away! Don't look back!"

And then, all the light disappeared.

He thought he might have injured his brain because his vision showed overlapping images. He closed his eyes and reopened them, and the problem improved slightly.
