I lay sleepless for two nights in a row.
Seraphina's birthday arrived as scheduled.
She posted a grid of nine photos on her social media, accompanied by a caption.
"The sunflowers in Beverly Hills are so beautiful. Tonight, my childhood sweetheart is taking me out for a romantic dinner. I'm so excited!"
In the pictures, she was dressed in an artsy, fresh style, posing for various selfies in the middle of a sunflower field.
My emotions were in turmoil. I wasn't sure if she was actually in Beverly Hills or not.
Because when I left Beverly Hills the day before yesterday, I hadn't paid attention to what flowers or plants were growing around the mansion.
But since Seraphina dared to post this so publicly, she must have gotten Henry Smith's permission.
My heart ached sharply. I could barely stand it.
"Yoyo, send me your cousin's FaceTime contact."
A feeling of revenge welled up inside me.
Goldie quickly sent over her cousin's FaceTime contact card.
