Of course, none of this came as a surprise to Jiang Chen. He had already anticipated the challenges of transforming into a Saiyan God.

After all, even Son Goku and Vegeta— universally recognized as the greatest martial prodigies in the Dragon Ball multiverse— had only truly mastered this level after rigorous training under Whis for an extended period.

Expecting to master it alone in a short time would be nothing short of impossible.

But full mastery wasn't his immediate goal. The Saiyan God form was merely a trump card, a weapon to be wielded when the time was right. For now, his primary focus remained on achieving Super Saiyan.

And a trump card's true value wasn't in how well he could control it— but in the sheer power it granted him.

Jiang Chen closed his eyes, focusing inward as he attuned himself to the divine energy coursing through his body.

Moments later—

"Whoosh!"

He exhaled, releasing a deep breath of pent-up energy, and a smile naturally crept onto his lips.

The power of Saiyan God was even greater than he had anticipated. Though its nature elevated him beyond the conventional boundaries of Ki, his training on Planet Yardrat had refined his perception. He could vaguely sense the fundamental difference between this divine energy and ordinary battle power.

If he had to quantify it— though battle power alone couldn't truly encapsulate the shift— it felt like a thousand-fold amplification, surpassing even Super Saiyan 3's multiplier.

However, it still fell short of the transformation that Son Goku had achieved in the original timeline.

But that was to be expected.

When Goku first attained the Saiyan God form, he stood on an entirely different level. The Saiyans who had lent him their energy— Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, and even Pan, who had yet to be born— were all significantly stronger than Raditz and the others Jiang Chen had relied on.

Gohan alone, despite having grown weaker over time, still possessed an overwhelming latent power. Pan, upon birth, would likely have an even greater natural potential than Goten.

Compared to Goku's Super Saiyan God, Jiang Chen's transformation was closer to what one might call a "Saiyan God" in name rather than a full realization of the form's true potential.

And yet, he was more than satisfied.

Even with his current base battle power of thirty-five thousand, a thousand-fold boost meant he now exceeded three hundred million— far surpassing Frieza's level. Even if Frieza exerted his full power, his battle power would cap at one hundred and twenty million.

At this moment, Jiang Chen was fully capable of killing Frieza outright.

And more than that— the amplification of the Saiyan God wasn't a simple numerical multiplier. It was a transcendence of dimension itself, a shift into a realm beyond mortal comprehension.

Suspended in mid-air, he took a moment to absorb this realization before slowly descending back to the ground.

As he landed, Raditz and the others immediately rushed toward him.

"This… this is the power of a Saiyan God?"

"Aspara, I can't sense your energy at all! How strong have you become?"

"Yeah, Aspara! Have you broken past one hundred million?"

A cacophony of voices erupted from Celipa, Toma, Toteppo, and Panbukin, with even Raditz unable to hold back his curiosity.

Jiang Chen chuckled at their reactions before speaking in a calm, confident tone.

"A god's aura cannot be perceived by mortals."

"My presence is now enveloped in divine ki, which is why you can't sense it."

"As for my strength…" He allowed the suspense to linger for a moment before delivering the answer they were eagerly awaiting. "I should be a little stronger than Frieza now."

A collective gasp echoed among the group.

"Hiss…!"

"Aspara… are you saying you've surpassed Frieza?"

"Your battle power is over a hundred million?!"

Celipa and the others were visibly shaken, and Toma couldn't help but exclaim in disbelief.

Jiang Chen nodded slightly. "Yes. If measured purely in terms of ki, my battle power shouldn't be any less than a hundred million."

His confirmation sent waves of excitement through the group.

Though Jiang Chen had previously assured them that Saiyan God and Super Saiyan transformations could bridge the gap against Frieza, hearing it from him now— seeing the undeniable proof before their eyes— was an entirely different matter.

They exchanged glances, struggling to contain their exhilaration.

After a few moments, they finally managed to suppress their emotions, steadying themselves once more.

Jiang Chen, too, chose this moment to let go of his Saiyan God state, allowing the divine aura to fade.

Then, turning to Raditz, he spoke in a more contemplative tone.

"Raditz… You likely won't be able to access this power again anytime soon. The righteous heart granted by Shenron's ritual— it was incomplete."

As he spoke, he reflected on the sensation he had felt at the moment of transformation.

Now that the godly ritual had ended, the righteous hearts that had fueled it had already begun to dissipate.

Although Raditz and the others had not reverted to their former selves, the righteous heart granted by the ritual had dissipated, and without it, they could no longer harness the divine power of a Saiyan God.

To attempt the transformation again, they would need to forge a new righteous heart through their own will and convictions.

The reason was likely tied to Shenron's wish. This righteous heart was not a naturally cultivated one but an artificial construct. The fact that it had worked at all was already miraculous—sustaining it indefinitely was simply impossible.

"This...!"

Jiang Chen's words left the group momentarily stunned.

"Aspara, what do we do now?" Toma finally asked, taking a deep breath as he fixed his gaze on Jiang Chen.

"Continue working with the Galactic Patrol. More than that, you need to accept this duty not just as an obligation, but as a belief." Jiang Chen spoke calmly.

"Understood!"

The group nodded in agreement.

They had already adjusted to life within the Galactic Patrol, and Jiang Chen was merely asking them to deepen that commitment. It wasn't a difficult request.

"Um, Aspara, you..."

As the conversation wound down, Celipa hesitated, wanting to say something but unsure how to phrase it.

"Aunt Celipa? What's on your mind?" Jiang Chen asked, sensing her hesitation.

"Aspara... are you going to challenge Frieza?" Her words sent an immediate wave of silence across the Lookout.

"Celipa!" Toma instinctively spoke up, his voice filled with concern.

Jiang Chen met their gazes before answering. "Aunt Celipa, I will deal with Frieza. But not yet. My control over the Saiyan God form is still far from perfect. Rushing into battle now might not resolve anything."

"Give me some time, alright?" His voice was calm but firm.

He fully intended to confront Frieza. While he didn't personally dwell on the destruction of Planet Vegeta, the larger mission of universal conquest was one he couldn't ignore.
