"Boom!"

A surge of darkness swept across the sky, blotting out the sun like an apocalyptic veil.

But then, a radiant golden blade of energy descended from above, splitting the heavens like a divine judgment.

"Golden Celestial Wheel--- Rebirth Burst!" Jiang Xi's calm, steady voice echoed through the chaos. The spirit orbs circling her wrist shimmered as they rapidly condensed her inner force.

The strike landed in a flash.

"Boom!"

"Rumble RUMBLE!"

The battlefield split open beneath her. The entity cloaked in endless black fog was torn apart, obliterated by Jiang Xi's devastating assault.

"Incredible... She's a monster!"

Below, the battered ranks of the Extraordinary Warriors gazed up in awe, their breaths still ragged from the last battle. Their eyes were filled with reverence and disbelief as they saw this scene.

That thing had summoned all its power, a terrifying voidspawn from a corrupted realm, yet one slash from Jiang Xi had reduced it to nothing.

Before the awe could settle in their hearts, Jiang Xi vanished once more, and when she reappeared, she was already over Chaoyang Base City.

Here, the skies were choked with grotesque manifestations of the Great Void entities without form, shifting between states of existence like specters from fractured realities.

Even the seasoned Extraordinary Warriors found themselves helpless against them. These creatures couldn't be touched, couldn't be reasoned with, they were chaos incarnate.

But Jiang Xi didn't hesitate. She raised her hand, and one by one, golden Spheres launched into the void.

"Boom!"

"Rumble Rumble!"

The power of creation and annihilation surged out in harmony. The Great Void shrieked if such beings could scream and was ripped apart by the sheer force of the Dao Spheres' spiritual law.

In an instant, scores of them were erased from existence.

BOOM.

RUMBLE RUMBLE.

The battle spread like wildfire. Bursts of divine energy and crushing aura lit up the firmament as warriors from across the realm responded. The Great Xia Federation moved at full capacity, its elite fighters mobilizing in every corner.

Jiang Xi's silhouette flickered from one hot zone to the next like lightning.

Bit by bit, her name carved itself into the hearts of Extraordinary Warriors across the land.

But she was not alone.

Across the Great Xia Federation, others of equal caliber were fighting with the same intensity. And yet, even their combined strength paled in comparison to the true threat looming overhead: The Dimensional Invasion.

Because if this invasion couldn't be contained, its spread would pose a threat far greater than a hundred isolated descents.

Western Sea Prefecture.

"How bad is it?" Zhang Tao's voice was low, almost grim as he asked this question. His eyes drifted to the shimmering rift in the skies beyond the city's walls.

"The infected zone's already passed a thousand square kilometers," Li Jiangping answered, his expression darkening as he spoke. "At this rate, it'll reach the Western Sea within half a month."

"Half a month?" Zhang Tao's brow furrowed deeply.

Even for someone of his strength, this was pushing the limits. Because facing a full-scale invasion from a high-tier world is next to impossible for them.

Even Seventh-Tier elites couldn't withstand that.

"Whoosh!"

A sudden gale swept through as a figure appeared midair, warping the space around him.

It was Jiang Chen. His appearance jolted Zhang Tao, Li Jiangping, and Liu Chaoxiong to attention. But the tension broke as they recognized him.

"Senior Jiang Chen!"

"Sir!"

Their voices overlapped in relief.

Jiang Chen landed smoothly, scanning the distorted skyline, then turned to Zhang Tao.

"What's the status, Minister?"

Zhang Tao quickly relayed the situation without wasting a second. As he spoke, Jiang Chen's expression turned solemn.

It was just as he'd feared. The Saint Seiya Realm had begun its full invasion.

Unlike a standard Dimensional Descent, this was a full-scale breach, complete with reality-warping anomalies and entities pouring into their world. That black mist sweeping over the frontier wasn't just cover; it devoured everything.

And with it came invaders, warriors from the Saint Seiya Realm, clad in myth-tier armor and backed by divine laws foreign to this universe. At this rate, the entirety of Western Sea Prefecture would be consumed within days.

And when that happened?

It would be catastrophic.

Western Sea Prefecture was one of the Ten Sovereign Base Cities. Its population alone exceeded a hundred million.

If the invasion made landfall here, the losses would be unimaginable.

"Minister Zhang," Jiang Chen asked, voice low, "What's our protocol for ending a breach of this scale?"

Zhang Tao didn't hesitate as he spoke.

"There are two primary methods," he said, eyes locked on Jiang Chen. "First, destroy the anchor invaders with their leading forces. Once they're gone, the rift usually collapses on its own. That's worked in most past invasions."

"But the second?"

"Let it feed." Zhang Tao's voice dropped further. "If it consumes enough land, energy, even people, it stabilizes into our realm. The invasion ends... but the cost is monstrous. And there's no guarantee it won't keep expanding."

Jiang Chen narrowed his eyes, the golden aura around him starting to flicker.

Neither option was ideal but one of them was unforgivable.

"Understood! From now on, I'll do everything in my power to eliminate any entities tied to this Dimensional Invasion! But be careful and don't let yourselves get dragged into the rift either." Jiang Chen gave a small nod, his voice calm yet unwavering.

"Alright! Thank you, Mr. Jiang Chen!" Zhang Tao nodded in return, a hint of gratitude flickering in his eyes.

In the face of a peak realm-level threat, their strength alone was practically meaningless. The only viable course might've been to let this invading world consume enough matter and spirit energy to stabilize… but the cost of that would be unimaginable.

Western Sea Prefecture held over a hundred million citizens. Evacuation wasn't something that could be done in a day or even a week. If the rift expanded that far, the losses would be catastrophic.

"Minister Zhang, I'm heading in now!" Without a moment's pause, Jiang Chen stepped forward and entered the swirling black mist of the rift.

"I'm going too!" Zhang Tao followed instantly, barking orders to several nearby officers before leaping after Jiang Chen.

Whoosh!

The dimensional tide surged with unnatural force, and in an instant, both Jiang Chen and Zhang Tao were swallowed by the abyssal fog.

A jolt of pressure gripped Jiang Chen's heart. But the world around them quickly shifted. They found themselves suspended in midair, surrounded by a distorted, otherworldly sky.

Ahead floated a colossal island.

As Jiang Chen focused his senses, an inexplicable energy stirred inside him.

"Mr. Jiang Chen?" Zhang Tao called out instinctively, unable to pull his gaze away from the islandor from Jiang Chen.

"Let's move. The core of this breach should be there." Jiang Chen's voice was steady as he surged downward, descending toward the island below.

"Got it!" Zhang Tao replied at once, chasing after him.

The moment they touched down, both men felt it, this island wasn't normal. The earth beneath their feet was searing hot. Fiery rain fell from the sky like molten shards, turning the landscape into a burning hellscape.

"What an unforgiving place… Normal humans wouldn't last a minute here," Zhang Tao muttered, wiping sweat from his brow.
