After Bao Yancheng joined in, Ye Yazhou breathed a sigh of relief, but he wasn't entirely at ease.
Coupled with his concern for Wen Wanzi's situation on her end, there were things he wanted to tell her but couldn't say yet. Distracted for a moment, Ye Yazhou took a punch to the abdomen.
Bao Yancheng, quick-eyed and swift-handed, came to his rescue but ended up taking several hard punches to his back, letting out a muffled grunt he couldn't suppress.
"Ugh—"
Wen Wanzi's eyes stayed glued to the two embroiled in a fierce scuffle. Ye Yazhou, who had clearly been fighting against two opponents for quite a while, already had cuts and bruises on his face and body.
But when her gaze fell on Bao Yancheng, her heart tightened even more.
What's happening to him?
Bao Yancheng's face was ghastly pale, with strands of hair stuck to the side of his face. His jawline was tense, as though gritting his teeth to endure something.
