Melissa Greenwood silently watched Gemma Morgan.
Gemma hesitated before speaking, "Melissa, do you think there's a chance that Yolanda isn't your Uncle's child?"
Gemma had indeed become suspicious.
"How could that be possible?" Melissa said with a look of disbelief, "Mom, stop making wild guesses. My uncle and aunt have always been unreliable. Besides, Yolanda is always getting into trouble, so it's somewhat understandable that they don't treat her well."
"Wait until you become a mother, then you'll understand," Gemma sighed softly, "Even if a child makes the biggest mistake, a mother would only think about making amends with her."
"But..." she shook her head again, "Maybe I'm really just overthinking it. Eliana gave birth the same day as me, how could Yolanda not be Eliana's child?"
Melissa's heart raced up to her throat, but as Gemma did not continue, she quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
