Yolanda Greenwood busied herself at home all day. By the time she finished, it was already dark, and Lola Gold still hadn't returned.
Today was Christopher Coldson's engagement day, and she was worried about Lola, so she made a call. But after a long time, no one answered.
Her worry deepened.
After thinking for a bit, she decided to call Noah Coldson, who quickly picked up.
Yolanda could hear the noisy background on the other end and guessed Noah was at the engagement scene. She felt a wave of bitterness wash over her.
"Yolanda?" Noah had moved to the balcony. "What's up?"
"Nothing." Yolanda felt somewhat embarrassed. How would Noah know where Lola was? It's just that now, after encountering issues, she seemed to have developed a habit of contacting him first.
She needed to break this habit. After all, since she and Cooper Coldson divorced, she had no relationship with Noah.
"It's nothing, I just dialed by accident." She lied.
Noah frowned, dialed by accident?
