However, George just wouldn't let it go, pestering them even during dinner.
"It's not like I'm asking you to do much, just hold the fort, and it would be even better if you could relay some messages."
George turned to Yolanda, "This matter concerns a lot of people in Ully Town for half of their lives, and if it's not negotiated well, my conscience wouldn't be clear. Just think of it as helping everyone out."
"What help could these two little girls possibly offer?" the old lady sneered disdainfully.
"Mom, they are college graduates who came back from the big city," George dismissed the old lady without giving any face, "As for you, you know nothing, so don't meddle."
The old lady wasn't angry; she seemed to really like Yolanda and even helped persuade her, "Yolanda, just help your uncle out."
