In the teahouse, Jaxon Greenwood and Yolanda Greenwood booked a private room.
"Uncle, did you find out anything?" Yolanda got straight to the point without any small talk.
Jaxon frowned, "Yolanda, what do you actually know?"
Yolanda didn't reply, only looking at Jaxon, waiting for him to answer her question.
"I'm afraid I might disappoint you," Jaxon tugged at the corner of his mouth, "I found nothing."
As expected.
Yolanda clenched her teeth. Melissa wouldn't leave any clues, and just when she felt utterly hopeless, she heard Jaxon continue, "But the more that happens, the more I suspect there is an issue."
Yolanda looked at him, surprised.
"There are only two possibilities: either we're all overthinking it, or..." Jaxon paused, then slowly continued, "the person responsible is right by me and Eldest Aunt. She can act without a trace and also destroy evidence without a trace."
Yolanda's heart leapt to her throat, and she asked anxiously, "Uncle... do you suspect anyone?"
