Brooks Parker saw Melissa Greenwood hang up the phone and scoffed, quickly sending a message, "Don't regret this."
He put away his phone and entered the Coldson Group building, heading to the reception desk.
"Good morning, sir, how may I help you?" The receptionist was young and pretty, fluent in English.
Brooks, once a top student, was naturally good at English and quickly informed her that he wanted to see Melissa Greenwood.
The receptionist maintained a perfect smile, "Do you have an appointment? Or, would it be convenient for you to call Miss Greenwood to come down to meet you?"
"It's not convenient." Brooks lost his patience, "Call her now and tell her to come down."
The receptionist hesitated but dialed Melissa Greenwood's number.
Melissa was in a meeting with Cooper Coldson when her secretary came in to get her, and she immediately guessed that it was Brooks.
