On the road, Yolanda Greenwood kept silent, her head down, appearing deeply troubled.
Cooper Coldson noticed and hesitated for a moment before he could speak, but then he heard Noah Coldson interrupt from beside him,
"Yolanda, don't worry, Little Wood will be fine."
Yolanda turned her head, her eyes red, "Big brother, I'm thinking about Little Maria."
She could no longer control her emotions and gently leaned on Noah's shoulder, sobbing softly.
She was afraid that Little Wood would end up like Maria, ultimately beyond rescue.
Noah's body stiffened for a moment, and then he realized and looked at Cooper, "Did you tell her about Little Maria?"
Cooper, watching Yolanda lean on Noah, felt his rage spiking, barely hearing Noah's words.
He yanked Yolanda up, his voice cold, "I said tears won't solve any problems."
Yolanda, jerked painfully, turned her head in confusion and said, "Let go, you're hurting me."
