Melissa Greenwood knew that filing for divorce would take at least three months, but at least this way, Cooper Coldson had no excuse to drag things out.
They had to divorce quickly, otherwise, the longer the delay, the more uneasy she felt.
"Okay," Yolanda Greenwood nodded in agreement after a moment's thought.
She asked again suspiciously, "Did Senior Brother Brooks's death really have nothing to do with you?"
Melissa furrowed her brows in irritation, "How many times do I have to say it? I'm speechless. The police in the U.S. have closed the case, so stop overthinking it."
"Then let me speak to May alone for a moment," Yolanda Greenwood seized her last chance.
"Okay." Melissa surprisingly agreed readily.
So, after Yolanda Greenwood left, she pulled Little May aside, "Does May want to live with mom and Uncle Coldson?"
May nodded vigorously, "Yes, mom is very good to May, and so is Uncle Coldson."
