Chapter 315: Mom, She's No Longer With Us

After returning to the apartment, Yolanda arranged for Jaxon to stay in her room. "Dad, you'll stay in here for a few days."

"What is this place? This isn't my home." Who would have thought that the hard-to-trick Jaxon would start causing trouble again, "This isn't my home, I want to leave, I want to leave."

Yolanda handed the baby to the postpartum doula and, together with Lola, held Jaxon. "Dad, this is Melissa's home. Can you stay here for now? In a few days, Melissa will take you back home."

"Melissa's home?" Clearly, Jaxon remembered bits and pieces, but most of it was forgotten—like how Melissa was supposed to live with him.

He quickly accepted that this was Melissa's home and stopped insisting on leaving. Yet he kept asking Yolanda repeatedly, "Where's my dear wife?"

"Dad, just have a good rest tonight. Tomorrow, I'll take you to see Mom." Yolanda fought to hold back her emotions.

Jaxon was indeed tired from all the fuss and went to bed early.
