"What brother?" Yolanda Greenwood walked out to grab a bottle of water, heading toward the fridge.
"The older brother at the kindergarten," Lola Gold jumped in to answer, "Our little Princess here is such a hopeless romantic. When she sees a handsome boy at kindergarten, she just calls him brother."
As she spoke, she carefully observed Yolanda's expression.
Yolanda took out the water, twisted open the cap, drank a sip, and then walked a few steps over to the two of them, gently rubbing Little Ella's head. "Little romantic, Mommy has to keep working now."
"Okay! Mommy, go get 'em!" Little Ella pumped her tiny fists in encouragement, then suddenly remembered something and chased after her. "Mommy, can I use your phone for a bit? I want to video call Daddy."
"Sure, but only for five minutes. Mommy still needs to get in touch with the team," Yolanda reminded her softly.
