"No, there are so many people here, I'm scared." May stepped forward and grabbed Melissa Greenwood's clothing.
Melissa Greenwood glared at her and lowered her voice in warning, "Don't be so ungrateful. I'm giving you a chance here. Let go, or I'll go inside and buy food for you right now."
May pursed her lips, looking as though she was about to burst into tears.
"Don't you dare cry. Don't make me slap you right here." Melissa Greenwood pointed at May. "Hold it in and wait here obediently."
May had no choice but to let go and stood there quietly waiting.
Melissa Greenwood glanced around the area before heading into the children's restaurant.
May, holding onto her sunflower balloon, noticed there were many people standing nearby and walked over to stand with them.
At that moment, the man who had been wearing a baseball cap and mask earlier approached her. "Little girl, do you want some candy?"
He took a lollipop out of his pocket and held it out to May.
