"Cooper, Cooper..." Isabella Ross kept calling Cooper Coldson's name over and over again. She couldn't shake the feeling that he was caught in some kind of trance-like madness.
Cooper didn't look at her. Instead, he laughed bitterly, "I always thought I had everything under control, believed that nothing could escape my eyes. And what happened? Reality proved just how pathetically stupid I am."
"President Coldson, it's not like that, it's not like that." Richard Reyes chimed in, anxious as well.
"I actually had the audacity to hope Yolanda Greenwood would forgive me. I even fantasized about starting over with her. Hahaha..." Cooper laughed to himself, so hard tears streamed down his face. "I'm so foolish, so arrogantly blind."
His laughter abruptly stopped. "Everything that's happened to me is my own fault. I brought this upon myself."
