Chapter 350: It's as if she never existed

Little Gabriel was still asleep. This little one truly seemed like a tiny angel; even while sleeping, the corners of his mouth curled slightly, his sleeping face exuding sweetness.

"He was looking for you last night, cried for quite a while, and slept late." The postpartum doula said softly.

"Thank you for your hard work." Yolanda Greenwood pulled out an envelope of money and handed it over. "Take this and head back. You won't need to return anymore."

"Huh? Ma'am, did I do something wrong?" The postpartum doula grew anxious immediately. Being able to care for such an angelic baby—she'd accept less money for the chance.

Yolanda shook her head. "It's nothing to do with you. Thank you for everything these past days."

The postpartum doula wanted to ask more, but it was clear that Yolanda didn't want to explain further.
