Elsie Adams stood to the side, her eyes fixed unblinkingly on Yolanda Greenwood and the reactions of the two children.
Little Ella happily introduced, "Mom, this is my brother."
Little Gabriel's eyes remained tightly locked on Yolanda, his gaze filled with complex emotions that were hard to decipher.
But Elsie still caught a flicker of longing within—perhaps… Little Gabriel recognized the woman in front of him.
Yet Yolanda… her attention was clearly focused entirely on Little Ella. She cautiously stepped forward. "Gabriel, may I go over and check on Ella?"
Everyone was slightly tense, silently awaiting Little Gabriel's outburst.
But as Yolanda walked closer step by step, Little Gabriel surprisingly didn't erupt in anger. He even moved aside willingly, though his eyes never stopped intently watching Yolanda.
A teacher murmured softly, "Strange, Gabriel seems like he recognizes Miss Greenwood?"
"How could it be possible?" Elsie shot the person a sharp glare.
