In the evening, Cooper Coldson, like usual, was the last to pick up Little Gabriel, and on the way home, he didn't say a word.
Little Gabriel could sense his father's mood was very bad, so he cautiously asked, "Dad, why didn't you come earlier? That way, we could see Mom and sister."
Cooper Coldson gave a bitter smile but didn't answer his son's question.
Even if he stayed at the kindergarten all the time, what difference would it make? Yolanda Greenwood no longer knew him, and Ella had a new dad.
Clearly, in their lives, he should simply disappear completely.
"Dad," Little Gabriel asked again, "can we invite Mom and sister to the amusement park this weekend?"
Cooper Coldson looked at his son in surprise, noticing that the son who used to ignore him now seemed like an affectionate little cotton-padded jacket.
"As long as I ask sister, they'll definitely agree," the little one said confidently.
