"Adam, we are a couple, actually I should have..." Yolanda Greenwood looked apologetic.
Adam Sterling chuckled softly and shook his head, "Forget it; I'll sleep on the sofa. By the way, are you hungry? Want to eat something first?"
"Adam, I'm willing," Yolanda grabbed Adam's arm anxiously.
Adam smiled and withdrew his arm, "Yolanda, until you regain your memory, we'll continue as before."
"..." Yolanda looked at Adam, moved.
Adam smiled, "Some things aren't that urgent; three years or five years, we have time to wait."
"Thank you, Adam." Yolanda lowered her head, secretly relieved for she indeed wasn't ready yet.
At the hospital, everyone else had left, leaving only Cooper Coldson and Little Gabriel.
Little Gabriel lay on the hospital bed, refusing to eat and silently shedding tears. Clearly, he was also deeply saddened.
Cooper Coldson sat by the bed and asked softly, "Gabriel, can you tell Dad why you don't like Uncle Adam?"
