She kicked at thin air, and only when Ye Li focused did she realize the spot next to her had long been empty.

It was only Da Bai that she had kicked off the bed.

And all the assorted stuffed animals that should've been messily scattered across the bed were neatly arranged in their original places,

as if she had slept alone last night.

"Mom, I'm already awake..."

Ye Li called out in response.

Li Xueqing pushed the door open, her smile warm, "Hurry and wash up, come downstairs for breakfast, Yanci and Xiao Bao have already gotten ready. They're waiting for you in the dining room."

"Oh, I'll be right there."

Ye Li answered.

As the door closed, Li Xueqing turned and went downstairs.

Ye Li picked up Da Bai, and looking at its beaming face, the more she looked, the more it resembled Fu Yanci. Grumbling, she punched it a few times before getting up to enter the bathroom.

When she came downstairs, she saw the newly dressed Fu Yanci and Xiao Bao.
