"Jiang Yan?"
She was somewhat puzzled, thinking she might be hallucinating.
But it was definitely his voice, too distinctive to mistake.
"How do you have my phone number?" she blurted out.
The next second, she regretted it.
With this man's means, getting her number wouldn't be difficult.
She changed the subject: "Do you need me for something?"
Jiang Yan said in a mild tone, "I had Uncle Zhong deliver lunch to you, have you eaten?"
Su He glanced at the pink lunch box in front of her, frowned slightly, and questioned, "Jiang Yan, why did you have someone send me lunch? What's your intention?"
"What, worried I might have poisoned the food?" the man said irritably.
Su He: "I wouldn't go that far, but there's an old saying, 'No good deed goes unpunished.'"
Suddenly, Jiang Yan felt a headache coming on. Sometimes he really couldn't keep up with Su He's train of thought.
He was starting to wonder if she had amnesia.
