Xu Zhehan said with a smile, "Meiya, you're just as sharp-tongued as ever."
Han Meiya, while cutting her steak, asked him, "Are you leaving again this time? Any plans?"
"I'm not leaving," Xu Zhehan said with a sigh. "It's time to consider the big event of my lifetime."
"What? Getting anxious?" Han Meiya looked up with a smile, "Not planning to play around for another couple of years?"
"No more playing, or my wife will run off!" Xu Zhehan said with an implied meaning.
Han Meiya exclaimed in surprise, "Oh," "Do you have someone in mind?"
Xu Zhehan smiled mysteriously, "Want to know?"
"No," Han Meiya didn't give him that satisfaction.
Xu Zhehan looked at her, frustrated—why wasn't she following the script? He had wanted to tease her by revealing it if she asked, but now he had to awkwardly hold back his words, leaving him feeling uncomfortable.
Han Meiya saw his deflated look and couldn't help but laugh with schadenfreude.
