The car headed south, gradually leaving the city behind.
"Where are you taking me? We've come quite a distance," Su Jinqi asked.
Li Jinghan teased, "What's wrong? Afraid I'm going to sell you off?"
"You can't do that, I'm carrying your baby, how could you bear it, right?"
"I can't bear to be without the kid, nor can I bear to be without you. We're so good together now, how could I bear to sell you? I can't pamper you enough," Li Jinghan uncharacteristically spoke such romantic words.
Su Jinqi, too shy to look at him, giggled and turned her head to gaze out the car window.
The car traveled for over half an hour more before finally stopping in front of a seaside villa.
"We're here," Li Jinghan unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned over to Su Jinqi, whispering, "Xiao Qi, time to get out."
Su Jinqi, drowsy and about to fall asleep in the car, heard his voice, opened her eyes and asked, "We've arrived?"
"We've arrived," he said, helping her unbuckle her seatbelt. "Time to perk up."
