Liu Shiyi looked at him, puzzled. "What? I didn't go anywhere."
Inwardly, she felt quite repulsed by his questioning, thinking he was being unnecessarily nosy.
Li Jingxiao let out a mischievous chuckle and asked again, "What mischief did you get up to last night?" He gestured with his eyes, glancing at her neck, then pointed with his finger.
Liu Shiyi, puzzled, grabbed a mirror from the counter and took a look. A hickey on her neck was glaringly obvious. She calmly adjusted the collar of her shirt and said indifferently, "Mosquito bite."
Li Jingxiao curled his lips into a grin, not saying anything, then asked, "Making any progress with the second brother lately?"
Liu Shiyi shot him a sidelong glance and said in displeasure, "Why are you asking that?"
"No reason, just concerned about you," Li Jingxiao said with a roguish smile. "I'm just here waiting to pick up the pieces, you know."
