Chapter 12

Torture room

Right now the four brothers including the prince were in the torture room. The atmosphere was tensed in the room, the only sound the three could hear was the

pounding of their hearts as they bow their heads to the cold stare the prince was giving them. "Pierre out, and mind you, this shouldn't get to Eric's hearing or else all of

you would carry the cross" he said and Pierre left the room without uttering a word. "What reasons do you have for going out of

the castle with Eric? The prince asked and they were suddenly chained, but they were quiet. They began sweating profusely and

their skin were slowly peeling off as the chain was no ordinary chain. "Would you speak up or just remain there" the prince

said before Rohan who was struggling to stay awake mustered the courage to speak. "We... went out in... search of...ahhhh" he

screamed as the chain was tightened against his body. "Speak properly" the prince said and tightened it the more. "We

went out there in search of any threats" Luthaire spoke up trying hard not to look at the almost lifeless Rohan but was cut short

when his was tightened also. "Just look at how weak you are, you can't even bare my punishment, the least of it and you expect to

go out there and fight with the enemy huh. You want to bring shame upon this Kingdom" the prince cautioned "stay there

for a while and train yourself so you won't let the enemy defeat you" the prince said and looked at the half dead Rohan who was

struggling to stay awake and then he averted his gaze to Luthaire who was trying hard not to look at his brother because he knows the

consequence and he isn't ready for more punishment than the one he's already receiving from his so called brother.
