This is a science fiction story set in a world almost 90% destroyed. We follow a lone female protagonist, the last human left on this planet, as she embarks on her nearly solitary journey.
In a world where the echoes of civilization had been silenced, Ba-Zi-Ha walked alone. The sky, a permanent shade of gray, reflected the end of a once-thriving world. Earth—or what she believed to be Earth—was now cracked and barren, holding only the remnants of an empire that had faded like dust in the wind. No more trees, no rivers, and the once-grand cities had become mere skeletons of iron and concrete, swallowed by the vastness of destruction.
She was the last. The only survivor—or at least, that's what she believed. Humanity had perished, wiped out by war, neglect, or perhaps an unknown force that had erased everything. Ba-Zi-Ha didn't know exactly what had happened. She had awakened in a laboratory, the last trace of an experiment that had never been completed. There had been promises of a better future, of a new beginning for humankind, but it seemed that the end had arrived before anyone could witness the results.
Now, clad in her survival suit, her sharp eyes scanning the horizon, Ba-Zi-Ha moved toward a single destination: an old data center, where the final records of the scientists who had once tried to save the planet might still be stored. The journey was lonely, and the relentless solar winds never ceased. But she had no choice.
Communication had been lost long ago, yet a coded message was burned into her mind—one she understood without knowing why.
"Find the core, and you may restore everything."
But what was this "core"? Where was it? And most importantly—was there anything left to be saved?
Ba-Zi-Ha's footsteps echoed through the empty streets, the only sound breaking the oppressive silence. Nothing remained of the planet's flora or fauna, yet she refused to let hope die. Maybe she was the last, but she knew that the last to give up would be the first to rebuild. She believed the core was the key to restoring everything—or at least, giving her existence a purpose.
Amidst the ruins of a world perhaps forgotten, a new mystery loomed ahead. Would she remain alone forever? Or was there still someone out there, waiting to share in her joys and sorrows?
