"That private laboratory has its own armed security," Sherlock said without even looking up.
"So?"
Still not bothering to raise his head, Sherlock pulled a phone from his pocket and, within seconds, the address was sent to Kasenhis's phone.
"OK."
The next moment, Kasenhis Ender-teleported straight back to his own home, leaving Sherlock behind, still piecing together the scrambled Hogwarts map.
"Tsk! I really hate magic!" Sherlock muttered in frustration.
Back at home, Kasenhis pulled out the heavily modified Z9 broom from his storage ring. After casting Invisibility on both himself and the broom, he lazily floated up through the skylight and into the night sky.
Once he reached a safe altitude, he finally let the broom show off its full power—in just a few blinks, he had left Baker Street far behind.
As the city lights blurred beneath him, his mood grew more irritable.
First off, his friend—or at least someone he considered a friend—had been captured and experimented on in a lab.
Lupin's own thoughts on their friendship were unknown, but Kasenhis had always seen him as one.
And who the hell knew what kind of sanity-shattering human experiments he had been subjected to?
Secondly, the fact that this lab still existed was an issue on its own.
What the hell had Lupin been thinking?
When Kasenhis had removed his "Beast" status, he was pretty sure he hadn't accidentally erased his brain in the process.
So Lupin had completely forgotten about something this serious—just let it slip his mind, without even telling Dumbledore.
Typically, test subjects in laboratories are isolated, so maybe Lupin didn't know if anyone else had been there. But Kasenhis, having grown up in the other world, knew better.
Lupin was lucky to have escaped, but who knew how many other werewolves had been captured, tortured, or even killed in that place?
Gripping the speed controller even tighter, Kasenhis felt the broom explode forward with sonic booms.
Thankfully, both his clothes and the broom had been reinforced—otherwise, at these supersonic speeds, he'd be meeting Notch himself in no time.
Soon enough, the laboratory from Sherlock's address came into view, nestled deep within a valley.
Kasenhis boldly landed in the courtyard, scanning the area to confirm that the entire facility consisted of only one building—no hidden underground bunkers or extra structures.
That was good. Rescuing people from one building was a hell of a lot easier than dealing with multiple locations.
He stashed away his broom, refreshed his Invisibility spell, and walked straight through the wide-open entrance.
It didn't take long to sweep through the entire ground floor.
Now, all that was left was the underground levels.
...
"Sir!"
At the entrance to the underground facility, a security guard, tasked with inspecting personnel before entry, saluted a man wearing an elite ID badge on his chest.
The security guard's eyes immediately snapped to the red warning window flashing on his screen.
Clicking it open, he was instantly greeted with a thermal imaging feed of the entire hallway—every heat signature clearly visible.
Right there, in bright, burning red, was a silhouetted figure casually strolling through the corridor, completely unbothered.
"What's wrong?" the high-ranking officer asked, noticing the guard's reaction.
The security guard only spoke after the red figure had left the screen, lowering his voice. "Magic rabbit hole. [WIZARD INTRUSION]"
"…Issue an order. If any unmarked heat signatures are detected, snipers have free-fire authorization. Squad A1—search and engage."
"Sir, will that be enough?"
"It's just one wizard. The ones we've captured weren't even real wizards—they couldn't do anything. This one won't be any different."
"Understood."
Meanwhile, Kasenhis continued his silent trek through the twisting corridors of the underground lab.
The blood-streaked research rooms and operating tables were a gruesome sight, making his stomach churn.
Yet, he still hadn't found the imprisoned wizards.
At this moment, his thoughts were a mess.
Every single werewolf wizard imprisoned and tortured by Muggles in this place—if he freed them, they would almost certainly become anti-Muggle extremists.
Some of the more extreme ones might even end up as future Death Eaters.
But even so…
That didn't change the fact that he was going to save them.
If he were to assume—based on pure speculation—that all these suffering wizards were destined to become Dark Wizards, and therefore not worth saving… Then he would be the one who truly didn't deserve to live.
A person with less power contributes less—maybe even nothing at all.
A person with more power contributes more.
Even Uncle Ben, before he got tragically deleted, said that power and responsibility go hand in hand.
And while Kasenhis wasn't one to boast, if he were being just a little humble, he'd say he had a fair bit of power at this point.
And right now—this was the time to put that power to good use.
As for what these poor wizards would become after being freed…
Well, that's a problem for someone with even more power to deal with.
Like Dumbledore.
As he descended deeper into the facility, the signs of imprisoned wizards became more frequent.
Most of them were werewolf wizards, though a small number were ordinary wizards.
They were all locked up separately, each one trapped in a massive glass cage—Like oversized hamsters.
Kasenhis carefully recorded the location of every imprisoned wizard, ensuring that once he identified all of them, he could rescue everyone in a single, swift operation.
Not giving the enemy a chance to use these wizards as hostages was the best tactical approach.
But it wasn't just about rescuing the wizards—this lab's research data had to be completely destroyed as well.
The fact that these wizards were captured and studied here meant that this private lab had likely gathered a dangerous amount of intelligence on the wizarding world.
Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, young wizards, and various wizarding villages.
All of it had to be erased!
Fortunately, he had already scouted the server room earlier.
The lab's entire data system was stored on local servers, running on an isolated network.
That meant he could erase everything simply by blowing up the entire facility.
No—not just the lab.
Whoever was pulling the strings behind this operation needed to be exposed and taken down as well.
And why?
Because of that timeless, undeniable truth—"You know too much."
The deeper Kasenhis went into the lab, the more horrifying the sights became. Blood-soaked experiment tables and the corpses of tortured wizards lay before him, the gruesome evidence of this place's atrocities.
"..."
The urge to blow this cursed laboratory sky-high only grew stronger in his mind.
By the time he had fully explored the facility and mapped out the locations of all the imprisoned wizards, he finally noticed something unusual.
At some point, he had unknowingly walked into a large open area.
The security personnel—who had previously been standing idly, either lost in thought or casually chatting—were now wearing night-vision or thermal-imaging goggles, all grinning as they looked directly at him.
From the distance, more armed soldiers were closing in.
"So… I've been spotted? Guess I need to either lower my body temperature or just phase out of existence entirely," Kasenhis muttered.
Realizing that these people had actually locked onto him, he simply canceled his invisibility spell.
At that moment, something appeared behind him.
A floating skeletal entity, with three skulls, only an upper body, and an aura of pure destruction.
"Kukuku~ I have to say—against you lot, unleashing a Wither is probably the most righteous thing I've ever done."
With one hand gripping his staff, Kasenhis raised the other and flipped them off.
